We’re award winners again!
On Thursday 7th June, we were once again successful in scooping a prestigious award.
Over 170 people gathered at the May Fair Hotel, London to celebrate the Family Business Awards of the Year 2018. We were shortlisted for two award categories and emerged victorious with the accolade of ‘North of England & Northern Ireland Family Business of the Year’.
Paul Andrews, founder of Family Business United and creator of the national awards explains: “Pioneer Foodservice is an established family firm with three generations in the business. Business owners from all corners of the UK attended the London event following their successes at regional family business award events. As we previously reported, we picked up two awards at the Cumbria Family Business of the Year Awards which were held in March 2018. We successfully won ‘Best Family Business in Retail and Wholesale’ and ‘Outstanding Cumbria Family Business of the Year’.
Graham Jenkins, our managing director was delighted with the national award: “We were honoured to find out we were runners up in the nationwide category of Food Distribution and then elated to receive the award of Family Business of the Year for the North of England and Northern Ireland. We were picked out from a shortlist of 21 UK companies who made it through to the final round.
This award was collected on behalf of everyone who works for our company and is a testament to the great relationship we have with our customers, our quality products and high service levels.”
