A fresh chapter in Cumbrian gelato

Three Hills Gelato is based on the edge of the Lake Dstrict at Park House Farm, Torpenhow. Their gelato is made using traditional Italian recipes and the finest local ingredients.

The name Three Hills Gelato pays homage to its roots in Torpenhow, a village whose name intriguingly means “hill, hill, hill” in three ancient languages.

From Pasture to Pot: Farm-to-Scoop Freshness

What truly sets Three Hills Gelato apart is its collaboration with Torpenhow Farmhouse Dairy, located just next door. Their gelato is made with 100% organic milk and cream from a single herd of Jersey-Friesian cows grazing on lush Cumbrian pastures. The milk travels only metres from field to kitchen, guaranteeing unbeatable freshness and full traceability.

The farm is committed to regenerative agriculture, prioritising biodiversity, soil health, and ethical animal care. By avoiding artificial fertilisers and pesticides, and allowing the cows to roam and graze naturally, the team is creating a sustainable future one scoop at a time.
