Supporting music in the north east
We’ve been a long-standing supporter of Sage Gateshead for over five years now and we’re delighted to be renewing our partnership.
This gives our colleagues a chance to visit and enjoy a wide range of musical events at the venue; a place many will visit with their friends, partners, etc for the first time for a great night out!
And, in some more exciting news, last week, Sage Gateshead announced their new name and branding …
The Glasshouse International Centre for Music is a popular music venue based on the banks of the River Tyne in Gateshead.
They are passionate about music! The venue’s main focus is to ensure all communities can experience the joys of music.
As they are a charity they rely on support to bring music to people of all ages, abilities and walks of life, from babies to retirees, people with special educational needs and disabilities to young people not in education, employment or training.
Not only do they stage 400 concerts a year in their world-class concert halls but give 190,000 people the opportunity to make music, through 10,000 classes and workshops.
Their diverse music programmes run in the building and out across the region, helping people to grow in confidence and live a more independent lifestyle.
From pop to rock, classical to folk, there’s always a reason to visit The Glasshouse International Centre for Music!
