Keswick Rotary Club – Experience of a Lifetime
7th – 16th September 2018
The Rotary Club of Keswick is raising vital funds for several local charities by taking participants on an Experience of a Lifetime.
Between 7th and 16th September, small parties will be enjoying the fells, live entertainment, activities and fine dining near Latrigg in the Lake District. Camping out in a ‘shelter box tents’ and with activities taking place in marquees, the experience will be truly memorable.
The visiting groups are all taking part in the activities, organised by the Rotary Club, to raise money for The Calvert Trust, Shelter Box, Great North Air Ambulance and Rotary International; all very worthy charities.
Guests will enjoy a fine dining experience and top chefs are involved in the programme. Chefs such as Ian Mackay, Head Chef at Lyzzick Hall Hotel and Dan Lansley, Head Chef at Brossen Steakhouse at Inn on the Square are just a few to mention.
We have proudly donated food and produce for the breakfasts in support of this amazing event.
There are still places available if you would like to take part in the Experience of a Lifetime. Visit their website for more information on the event and timetable.
The Rotary Clubs of Appleby and Upper Eden organised a similar event in 2009, raising a massive £44,000 for charity. We hope this event does the same – good luck!
