The IT Administrator will join a small IT team responsible for the day-to-day support and management of IT related equipment (including servers, phone systems, POS and software both bespoke and packaged) across all our sites. The successful candidate will report to the IT Manager.
The role will consist of the following duties:
* Maintenance and support of network and all hardware
*Support and management of software and licence compliance
*Assisting staff at all levels with their day to day requirements
*The purchase of IT supplies through nominated suppliers
*Assisting other IT team members with ongoing projects and tasks
*Document processes and procedures
*Ensuring systems are PCI and GDPR compliant
*Ensuring all systems are secure with appropriate backups, upgrades, patches and releases
*Provision of 24 hour support shared with other IT team members
*Maintenance and development of the core telesales system.
Skills and Knowledge Required
*Linux and Microsoft Windows servers and desktop operating systems
*Virtual Server technologies
*Microsoft Office Tools
*Ability to fault find and resolve both hardware and software issues
*Flexible approach to duties and a willingness to cover for other team members
*Ability to work within a team (IT or other departments) or independently
*Ability to work under pressure with minimal direction.
