There are major changes and updates coming to Erudus

Erudus is an online tool which gives users easy access to allergen, dietary, handling and packaging information.

It’s free to use and helps those in the food industry adapt to ever-evolving challenges and requirements by providing clear, accurate and easy-to-access data and cutting-edge tools to support you in running your business.

As a direct result of user feedback, the online system is getting a major upgrade.

The changes will be introduced from Monday 8th January.

Please note: we advise you to remove any shortcuts you may have created to the website and start afresh at Erudus.com.

The following are just some of the changes you will see when logging in for the first time:

You can view products from a number of different wholesalers using their unique product codes.

The introduction of Change Alerts which will be linked to your user e-mail.
This will notify you if any products you purchase from us have been updated by the manufacturer, e.g. addition or removal of allergens or any dietary claims.

This can also be linked to your downloaded purchase history from your account details and will automatically update all the relevant allergen or nutritional information for use by your staff.

The new addition of a Query Builder function. This will allow the ability to search for products by name, allergen or dietary requirement such as ‘gluten free’ or ‘suitable for vegetarians’.

There will be an updated version of Recipe Builder to allow you to produce accurate product recipes which include declared allergens, nutritional info and costings per portion to assist you in managing your budget.

The Menu Planner function will be updated for use in canteens which allows detailed menus to be compiled for each day of the week or month.
