Celebrating Cumbria Life Food & Drink Awards 2018

On the evening of Thursday 22nd March, we had a fantastic time at the Cumbria Life Food and Drink Awards 2018. Held at Kendal College, the event was hosted by famous food critic, Jay Rayner, and celebrated the county’s best restaurants, chefs, pubs, cafes, food business and producers.

We sponsored the Best Newcomer award and David Jenkins, our sales director, was proud to hand this over to the successful winners Pentonbridge Inn, near Longtown. Sponsoring a colourful fundraising occasion for Eden Valley Hospice

Once again, we are thrilled to announce that we are sponsoring a colourful fundraising event; Eden Valley Hospice and Jigsaw’s Colour Run.

The fun run takes part on Sunday 13th May at Carlisle Racecourse and is attended by hundreds of runners, families and even dogs! The run sees participants covered in paint and foam bubbles to turn this event into a spectacular rainbow of colour.

Last year, the Colour Run raised over £60,000 for the hospice which looks after those suffering with life-limiting illnesses. Our much-missed colleague, Brian Queen, was well looked after by hospice staff, so this local charity has […]

Proud sponsor of Cumbria Life Food & Drinks Awards 2018

This year we are a proud to be one of the sponsors of the Cumbria Life Food and Drink Awards.

The awards are being held at Kendal College on Thursday 22nd March and celebrate the county’s best restaurants, chefs, pubs, cafes, food business and producers. The awards are in their seventh year and will be hosted by journalist, broadcaster and food critic Jay Rayner.
