The quality of the food, delivery service and pricing is second to none! I now buy all my meat from Pioneer and it’s fantastic food from the Lakes, which goes down well with our customers.
I speak with Paul, our sales manager, every week and he visits regularly. We talk about new menu ideas and how I can use new cuts of meat to develop great menus. Paul’s background in butchery really helps me and we spend time throwing around ideas together.
I would stand on a box and shout about how great Pioneer is!

Fentimans have brewed ginger beer since 1905 and the business is still family-owned. Based in Hexham, they now brew a wide range of fine drinks to include traditional flavours such as dandelion and burdock alongside contemporary drinks like sparkling lime and jasmine.

The Finlay family has farmed Rainton in Dumfriesshire since the 1920s. In 1993, the farm became organic and a year later started producing their first ice cream. At the heart of Cream o’ Galloway is the desire to create ice cream made with pure, natural ingredients.

Claire Kent began making jams, chutneys and preserves in 2003, using traditional methods and simple, natural ingredients. Based in Wigton in Cumbria her established favourites include the award-winning red onion marmalade and the tart and tasty damson and apple chutney.
