Half term horrible Halloween down on the the farm

Our friends at Walby Farm Park have been holding half term Horrible Halloween days for youngsters.

Children follow the spooky trail to the Pumpkin Patch where they  ‘pick’ their pumpkins and then there’s a whole range of spooktacular activities to take part in, such as scary trails and decorating witches fingers.

Our sales manager, John Cowen has been helping to find enough pumpkins to keep up with the demand and went along to take some photos.

June Dixon recently reached a momentous moment, when she celebrated 50 years of belonging to the Pioneer family. June, 84, started work with us on 10th October 1966 and is still working in our accounts department on a part-time basis.

June has enjoyed every moment of her time with us and says: “I do love to be among people. That’s what I like going to work for. I like the company and being among people. And they’re all half my age. When I’m there I forget that I’m as old as I am.”
