Celebrating the best of Carlisle
The fifth Carlisle Living Awards were held at The Garden at Eden, just outside Carlisle, on Friday 21st September. Once again, we were sponsoring the Food & Drinks category.
Celebrating the successes and achievements of businesses, enterprises and individuals, the Carlisle Living Awards is a much anticipated event in the city’s calendar.
The winners!
Our sales director, David Jenkins, was on stage to present the winners for the Food & Drinks category.
This year’s winners were:
Best Country Pub – Duke of Cumberland – judges said they could have stayed all night!
Best City Bar – Spider and Fly
Best Village Café – The Reading Room at Walton
Best City Café – Coffee Genius – it’s their fourth win in five years!
Best Restaurant – Foxborough – “a bold place with a bold menu” said judges
Finally, a special mention goes to Best Food Newcomer – James Hill and his team at The Lounge on the Green.
