Celebrating Carlisle College learners

On Thursday 21st June, we were honoured to attend the Carlisle College Awards 2018. The event was held at the college and was celebration of hard work and achievements of all the further education learners. After a delicious meal, which was made by the talented catering students, the certificates were awarded by, Grant Glendinning, principal of Carlisle College.

Once again, we were proud to be involved with the awards event and were a keen sponsor of the Maths Prize. Our managing director, Graham Jenkins, went along to the event to hand out the prize.

On Tuesday 5 June, Chefs’ Selections by Caterforce won prestigious awards at the Cash & Carry Management (CCM) Own-Brand Awards.

Fun run fundraising beats last year’s total!

Our team of runners who took part in this year’s Eden Valley Hospice’s Colour Run raised a whopping £594 for the Carlisle charity; beating last year’s fundraising total.

Natalie Bingham, corporate relationship co-ordinator at the hospice popped along to our office on Wednesday 13th June to complete the handover of funds and she had this to say:  “We were delighted that Pioneer decided to sponsor our Colour Run for the second year in a row. We’re award winners again!

On Thursday 7th June, we were once again successful in scooping a prestigious award.

Over 170 people gathered at the May Fair Hotel, London to celebrate the Family Business Awards of the Year 2018.  We were shortlisted for two award categories and emerged victorious with the accolade of ‘North of England & Northern Ireland Family Business of the Year’.
